Sarsfields 1-15    Beagh 2-11 

Sarsfields won their second match of this year's Junior B Championship in a very entertaining game played in Loughrea on Sunday evening. Beagh started much brighter and, thanks to a late goal from a free, led at half time by 1-8 to 0-5 with Dylan Madden keeping Sarsfields in touch with 3 pointed frees. Sarsfields staged a great comeback in the second half and points from Alan Ward, Stephen Earls and Ronan Duhan brought them back into the game. A goal from substitute Eoin Leslie late in the game ensured Sarsfields snatched victory on a scoreline of 1-15 to 2-11.

The scorers for Sarsfields were Dylan Madden 0-5 (0-5 frees), Eoin Leslie 1-1, Alan Ward 0-4, Stephen Earls 0-3 (0-3 frees), Darragh Keane 0-1 (sl) and Ronan Duhan 0-1.

The team was Noel Earls, Cathal Dolan, Colm Ward, Mark Scully, Gavin Cooney, Michael Donohue, Stephen Earls, Darragh Keane, Alan Cannon, Dylan Madden, Ronan Duhan, Barry McMahon, Cormac Dolan, John Scully and Alan Ward. Subs: Eoin Leslie for Ronan Duhan, William Mulkerrins for Dylan Madden and Thomas Spellman for Cormac Dolan.
