Sarsfields Last Man Standing

  • After week 1, there are about 600 still standing. The best of luck to you all.

  • After week 2, there are over 500 still standing.

  • After week 3, there are 397 still standing.

  • After week 4, there are 367 still standing, after 30 were eliminated.

  • After week 5, there are 241 still standing, after 126 were eliminated.

  • After week 6, there are 159 still standing, after 82 were eliminated.

  • After week 7, there are 92 people standing, after 67 were eliminated.

  • After week 8, there are 42 people standing, after 50 were eliminated.

  • After week 9, there are 37 people standing, after 5 were eliminated.

  • After week 10, there are 26 people standing, after 11 were eliminated.

  • Week 11 is 11 May. This one is to be the decider, all still standing will select two teams.

Rules

1. You pick one Soccer team from the Saturday-Monday fixtures each week from the English Premier League. 2. You must makeyour selection before 5pm on the Friday of each week. Strictly no late selections will be allowed. 3. The team you select must WINtheir fixture. If your team does not WIN you are out. 4. If your team wins you will receive a text with the following week's fixtures and you select a team to win from these fixtures. 5. You can only pick each team once. 6. The overall winner(s) is the person(s) who lasts longest (i.e.) Last Man Standing. 7. Entry fee €10 per person. The overall winner takes the total cash prize fund. 8. If there are 5 or less in the competition and all get knocked out together, then the cash pot is shared. If the League season ends before a winner is declared, the pot will be shared between those remaining in the competition. 9. Once a selection is made you will not have the ability to change it. 10. Should you forget, for whatever reason to make your selection in any week, you will automatically be assigned the first HOME team that you have not selected in alphabetical order. Once a team is automatically assigned, you will not have the ability to change the selection. 11. Should a game be postponed AFTER selections have been made for that week, then anyone who selected EITHER of the two teams involved in the postponed fixture will make it through to the next round. However, that team will no longer be available for selection. 12. It is your responsibility to ensure that your weekly nomination is submitted before the Friday 5pm deadline. 13. No re-buys allowed. Once your team does not win, you are out. 14. Committee decision final on all issues arising.
