Sarsfields had a comprehensive victory over Killimordaly in the group stages of the Junior B League played in Killimordaly on Saturday evening. Sarsfields played with the aid of a strong breeze in the first half and two goals from Gregory Lawless and one from Dylan Madden helped them to a 3-9 to 0-4 half time lead. Killimordaly staged a comeback in the second half but Seamus Doyle came off the bench to score a goal for sarsfields. A point from a free from Dylan Madden left the final score at 4-10 to 2-5. The scorers for Sarsfields were Gregory Lawless 2-0, Dylan Madden 1-2 (0-1 free), Barry McMahon 0-4, Seamus Doyle 1-0, Ronan Duhan 0-3 (01 free) and Dara Keane 0-1.
